Abstract

The objective of this research was to analyze necessary condition on educational supervision of the secondary schools. This quality research was conducted by documentary research and focus group. The variable was necessary condition on educational supervision of the secondary schools. The subjects of the first way were 30 related documents and research collected by a documentary analyzing form. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency and percentage. And, the second method composed of 3 groups of 30 subjects at the secondary educational service area office 29: 10 school directors, 10 vice presidents, and 10 teachers; selected by using multi-stage sampling technique. This data was collected by group discussion form regarding the needed issues and analyzed by frequency, percentage and content analysis. The research results revealed that necessary conditions on educational supervision of the secondary schools conducted by documentary research and focus group were found the most in academic administration 50.00% obtained from document analysis and 100.00% from group discussion. The most common issue was supervising: using less systematic models and methods, applying less innovation and digital technology, and reflecting less suggestion for development and improvement. For the necessary conditions of schools under the secondary educational service area office 29, the most needed was developing a comprehensive and clear secondary school education supervision manual and tools in accordance with the school requirements, using a new supervision model, and applying innovation and digital technology appropriately.
