Guidelines for Potential Promotion of Tourism iNakhon Sri Thammarat Province

This research aims to 1) study tourism resources of Nakhon Sri Thammarat Province 2) to guide the development of tourism resources of Nakhon Sri Thammarat Province. Which is a qualitative research by in-depth interview with key informants. Main informants 5 group 1) government sector 4 persons 2) private sector and entrepreneurs 5 persons 3) community leaders 8 persons 4) academician of tourism: 2 persons 5) Marketing department 2 persons, total 21 persons.To find ways to promote tourism potential of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province by means of triangulation by examining information from various sources such as time information. Area and Human Resources To take into account that if collecting data from different locations and different people or different persons to provide information Will there be any discrepancies and the data is interpreted and written as the final report in conducting qualitative research which requires descriptive analytics in the manner of narrative phenomena.That happened This is the result of the study what the researcher expected is the objective but sensitive data and findings by writing the results of the research study by descriptive analysis.
The research findings were as follows: 1. The tourism components of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province (6A's) were readiness and potential in tourism management. Has the ability to accommodate tourists due to the diverse tourism resources, for example: 1. Natural tourism resources such as the National Park Mountains. Islands National Park, Southern Sea, Khanom Beach 2. Cultural tourism resources such as Wat Phra Mahathat Woramahawihan Which has been registered as a world cultural heritage. Wat Chedi Ai Khai is a temple famous for its Nakhon Si Thammarat. City Pillar Shrine is designed like Srivichai art and has a distinctive identity unique. The Sart Duan Sib Tradition is an important festival of the Southern people.
Nang Dan parade tradition is the only ancient tradition of Brahminism in Thailand. 2. Researchers have summarized the results of analysis to find ways to promote tourism potential of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Which can be summarized as follows 1) The preparation of tourism programs that are interesting and appropriate to the target group should be promoted. 2) There should be public relations on tourism activities as well as the development of a more diverse and interesting activity format. 3) Create the identity and strength of local souvenirs in order to increase the interest of tourists to more tourists.
