The main purpose of this study was to examine the factor of success the operation of Prathabu sub-district community justice center. Mixed methods research. Data from a set of 400 people questionnaires of Prathabu sub-district, Prasat district, Surin province. The qualitative research key informants were collected, boards of the community justice center and staff performing at least 5 years of 15 persons. The instrument used a structured interview questionnaire. The reliability coefficients, alpha, 0.875. These statistics were computed: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Information from the interview analyzes data by content analysis. Research findings were as follows: factor of success the operation of Prathabu sub-district community justice center overall, it was at a high level ( =3.80, S.D. = 0.7). The considered on a case-by-side basis, it was found that the community justice center, the highest level was management ( =3.84, S.D. =0.793), followed by community participation ( =3.82, S.D.=0.778), government support ( =3.75, S.D.=0.768), networks ( =3.73, S.D.=0.684); statistical significance at level 0.05. Problems with operation; the only minor law is ministry orders and procedures, committee such as ad-hoc gathering, roles and duties overlapping with other departments, mediator trust. The appropriate development of community justice centers; improve of management, law and process. The community leaders, such as village headman, official leader and informal, community volunteers perform mediation in the community by principles of transparency, impartiality, coordination, participation, knowledge publicity and reconciliation of justice.
