Abstract

This study aims to analyze the components and to study the level of success of the academic administration system in schools for expanding educational opportunities, with the hope to raise the level of achievement of learners under the Office of Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area 2. The target population in this study are 544 directors and teachers in schools for expanding educational opportunities under the Office of Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area 2. The research instruments are 1) an interview guide of the components of success of the structured academic administration system 2) a survey about the components of success of the academic administration system. The data were analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis and the basic statistics are mean ( ) and standard deviation. The finding of the research was 1. According to the analyzation of the components of success of the academic administration system in schools for expanding educational opportunities, with the hope to raise the level of achievement of learners under the Office of Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area 2, found that there are 7 components of success which are 1) school administration the component weight value of each component was between .541-.789 2) professionalism of administrators and teachers the component weight value of each component was between .317-.803 3) student-focused instruction the component weight value of each component was between .368-.897 4) internal supervision the component weight value of each component was between .340-.737 5) participate administration the component weight value of each component was between .368-.643 6) personnel management the component weight value of each component was between .310-.781 and 7) educational media and technology the component weight value of each component was between .409-.437. 2. According to the study of the level of success of the academic administration system in schools for expanding educational opportunities, with the hope to raise the level of achievement of learners under the Office of Sukhothai Primary Educational Service Area 2, the total level of success is the best. When the researcher considered the components, it is noticed that the most successful component is personnel management ( = 4.91, S.D.= .17) and the least successful component is school administration ( = 4.22, S.D.= .35).
