Abstract

The objectives of the research were 1) to study academic leadership of school administrators, 2) to study the learning resources management within the schools and   3) to study the relationship of school administrators’ academic leadership and the learning resources management within secondary schools in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The sample group was 314 teachers of secondary schools in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province obtained by geo-class sampling. The research instrument was questionnaires with the reliabilities on academic leadership of 0.97 and the learning resources management within the schools of 0.96. The statistics used for analysis were mean, standard deviation and Pearson Correlation Coefficient. The researcher found that 1) the overall academic leadership of school administrators was at the highest average and also in each aspects. The highest was the vision of education management to cope with changes. The second was leadership of innovation initiatives for learning resources management and the lowest one was the potential for self-sufficiency in academic development. 2) the overall and in each aspect of learning resources management were at high level. The highest was creating and developing stages, the second was the auditing, supervising, monitoring and evaluation stages on the utilization of learning resources.  The lowest was the summary and development of learning resources stages and 3) there was a positive correlation of school administrators’ academic leadership and learning resources management within the schools with the overall statistical significant level at .01.
