Abstract

The outbreak of COVID-19 has resulted in a change in consumer behavior to a new normal life, as well as business operations. People reduce exposure, keep distance with others to reduce the risk of COVID-19, and focus on remote communication. Augmented reality is a cutting-edge technology that entrepreneurs are starting to adopt in their organizations to meet the behavior of consumers in this era, by using virtual images and the reality in order to connect with consumers. Businesses can apply augmented reality technology to a variety of marketing communications activities to attract customers, increase sales, and develop effective ways of working within the organization. Thus, this article aims to introduce augmented reality technology and potential utilization in various business operations.
