Abstract

This research aims to promote income generation for people affected by COVID-19. by studying the resource base and potential of the community. Then develop community products that can generate income. The research is using research and development (R&D) with community participatory action research techniques and collect data by focus group, workshop and interview. The target group to participate in the analysis of community resources and potential of themselves and develop community products. The research area was Khok Krachai Sub-district, Khon Buri District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. A sample of 60 people was used to determine the qualifications to be residents of Khok Krachai Subdistrict. and has been affected by the corona virus (COVID-19) epidemic situation. The results of the research can be summarized as follows: 1) Community resource base of Khok Krachai Sub-district can be divided into 5 categories: natural resources, agricultural products, Tourist attractions, knowledge and community products. That gives the community has strengths in various resources. But there are still weaknesses in product development funding and also lack of marketing knowledge. 2) Product development results: 10 types of community products, namely Thai dessert products, curry paste, roasted rice, coconut broom Lamps made from coconut shells, banana chips, taro, fried potatoes, fried jackfruit, and sausages. Can generate total sales of 178,315 baht. The success factor in product development should have two important resources, namely having their own products that can be processed into products or having knowledge of methods and processes in production. Recommendations based on research findings, relevant external agencies should support the target group by providing training to enhance skills and knowledge, as well as pushing for community products to be accredited. and should expand the market to outside the community This allows for more products to be sold. leading to a stable income
