Abstract

This article purposes to Understanding philosophy is important for educators not only so that they possess an individual philosophy but gain more awareness to the philosophies of their students and administrators. Postmodernism concept describes a school of thought that arises largely from the opposing and violent movements in contemporary society. Postmodern educators believe that there is no absolute or universal truth, accepting and promoting individual expressions, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and debate is also a necessary factor in the educational process. Teachers and educators need to know the philosophy behind their schools for understand the changing management of education in this modern society.
