Maize Farmer’s Decisions in Nanoi District, Nan Province

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to consider factors influencing on decision making in maize farming. One hundred sixty-five people of maize farmers were selected. Statistical analysis was percentage, mean and standard deviation. From the results, environmental factors appropriate to the growth of maize and the factors of production cost have influenced decision making in maize farming. Therefore, the way to reduce the area of maize farming and agricultural development must promote plants that use of smaller area. Moreover, enough income in the household and have a stable market.
