The study of the management of education fund for students at national university In SuratThani

Abstract

The study of the scholarship management of government university students aims to study and compare the management methods of the scholarship according to personal factors because there are many students who apply for the scholarship and have required properties but fail to win the fund. In this study, the sample representatives were selected from Suratthani Rajabhat University and Prince of Songkla University Suratthani Campus because these universities have adopted the policy of inequality reduction. The main target of university is to produce graduates with required qualities of effective learning, thinking and working.

According to the study, it was found that in terms of input factor, the students failed to recognize the importance and value of the scholarship. In terms of process, the information and principles of scholarship were unclear and obscure. In terms of production, the scholarship was not offered sufficiently to meet the applying students’ needs.

The author suggests that in terms of input factor, the students should be encouraged to have conscious and the objectives of the scholarship should be improved to meet the applying students’ needs the most. In terms of process, it should have clear information of the scholarship including public relations via more channels. In terms of production, more scholarship should be provided to meet the applying students’ needs.
