JOYLADA: Function and Opening Techniques of Digital Literature

Abstract

This study aimed at studying the function of Joylada and techniques of opening story for attracting the reader to pay for further reading. The result found that functions of Joylada were the characters of digital literature and there were specific functions for making difference between digital platform and copies. The opening techniques of top hit 29 titles of literature found that there were 5 techniques from most found to least were dialogue 20 titles, setting description 5 titles, action of characters 2 titles, reveal of characters’ mind 1 title, and basic information of characters 1 title.
