Abstract
The studying aimed at analysis of ritual element in Karen Wedding Ceremony, San Pong Village, Serm Klang, Serm Ngang district, Lampang Province. The study found that there were 3 rituals in marriage. Each ritual had the following elements. 1) Make merit to Ancestral spirits (Liang Phee Hor) has 5 elements : 1. Believe or faith 2. Ritualist 3. Language 4. Effect on the mind and 5. Symbols, 2) Welcoming the groom and relatives (Rub Khun Suu) has 6 elements : 1. Believe or faith 2. Ritualist 3. Language 4. Effect on the mind 5. symbols and 6. Using various media, 3) Karen Wedding has 6 elements : 1. Believe or faith 2. Ritualist 3. Language 4. Effect on the mind 5. symbols and 6. Using various media
The results of the composition analysis of each ritual found that various elements Helping the newlywed couple to be confident in the life they are starting. Because it has been accepted by the family People in society And the holy world
