Research Article Product Innovation Development through Participatory Local Wisdom of Community Enterprises of Ethnic group at Ban Mae Chaem, Mueang Pan District, Lampang Province

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to analyze the participation of ethnic community enterprises and to find ways to develop innovative products through participatory local wisdom of ethnic community enterprises at Ban Mae Chaem, Muaeng Pan District, Lampang Province. It was participatory action research. The tools were Semi-structured interview and community forum. The informants were members of the community enterprise group, community leaders representing local authorities public and private sectors by analyzing the content.
The results showed that ethnic community enterprises had participatory operations with both external and internal networks. External participation was supported by local authorities, community leaders, the public and private sectors in terms of budgets, academic training, study trips from successful agencies, and activities to remove knowledge of the group. The internal section is driven by committees and ethnic members which has planned work to put into practice in creating new products, including raw material suppliers who have coordinated and thought together, participated in activities, participated in the evaluation, shared to receive benefits and jointly solve problems of community enterprises continuously. As for the guidelines for the development of innovative bags and clothing products through the local wisdom of ethnic groups with the participation of community enterprises was found that the group members had compared the products they had taken on a study tour by bringing cotton weaving and hemp fabric within the community to apply and process them to create new patterns and products with patterns that are the identity of the ethnic group. However, the group has modified the product form to be modern in accordance with the market demand including creating legends, telling stories or stories of ethnic lifestyles through communication with pictures and patterns on the fabric. This is considered as an innovative product of the community enterprise group which has never been done before and has been well received response by using digital marketing mechanisms to present products through social media. In addition, community enterprise groups and people in Ban Mae Jam community have increased income. This ultimately results in a better quality of life for those involved.
