Social responsibility of executives in private higher education institutions

Abstract

This research aims to study the relationship between transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, emotional Intelligence, ethical climate in organization, participation in policy and work behavior with the social responsibility of executives in private higher education institutions. Quantitative methods were used and the data were collected with questionnaires from 109 samples of department head in private universities, selected by multistage sampling. The results showed that transformational leadership, psychological empowerment, emotional Intelligence, ethical climate in organization, participation in policy correlated with work behavior with social responsibility of executives in private higher education institutions. All variables had the reliability value over 0.7. This information is of fundamental importance in analyzing multi-level relationships at the executive level variables to the worker level variables.
