Abstract
In the past Thai society believed that women play role wives and mothers taking care of their family. They were restricted from right and freedom. Men were the leaders of family. A present Thai society has changed a lot, they are all economic, technology, and society. The family is the first institution of society. Some wives must face of poverty, they solve this problem by committing an offence under the Narcotics Act B.E. 2522, in order to make sufficient income quickly. Nowadays the number of wives committing drug offences will probably increase and also become more serious respective. There are many forms of offences starting with possession, drug abuse, distribution, and conspiracy. Their husbands are behind the acts, guide, persuade and even force them to do wrong. Eventually action taken by law enforcement, some wives being punished in prison, losing chance to take care their children and develop themselves to live happily.
