กระบวนการและปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการรับรู้ภาพลักษณ์ทางร่างกายของ วัยรุ่นไทยที่พิการทางสายตา

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการและปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการรับรู้ภาพลักษณ์ทางร่างกายของวัยรุ่นไทยที่พิการทางสายตา งานวิจัยนี้ใช้เทคนิคการสังเกตการณ์อย่างมีส่วนร่วมโดยผู้วิจัยได้เป็นพี่อาสาสมัครสอนการบ้านและได้ใช้เทคนิคการสัมภาษณ์แบบเจาะลึกเพื่อเก็บข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ซึ่งประกอบด้วยกลุ่มวัยรุ่นไทยที่พิการทางสายตาทั้งเพศชายและเพศหญิง อายุ 13-21 ปี ที่กำลังศึกษาในชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้นและตอนปลายในระบบเรียนร่วมของโรงเรียนในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 30 คน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กระบวนการรับรู้ภาพลักษณ์ทางร่างกายของวัยรุ่นที่พิการทางสายตามี 3 รูปแบบ คือ กระบวนการรับรู้ที่เกิดจากการฟังผ่านสิ่งเร้า การสัมผัสสิ่งเร้า และการจินตนาการจากประสบการณ์ความรู้เดิม โดยแหล่งปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการรับรู้ภาพลักษณ์ทางร่างกายในวัยรุ่นพิการทางสายตา ได้แก่ ครอบครัว กลุ่มเพื่อน ครู หนังสือเสียง หนังสือเบรลล์ และ สื่อมวลชนตามลำดับขั้นพัฒนาการที่พวกเขาได้การเรียนรู้มาจากแหล่งปัจจัยเหล่านี้

Process and Influential Factors related to How Thai Blind Adolescents Perceive their Body Image

This qualitative research aimed to investigate the processes and influential factors related to how blind Thai adolescents living in Bangkok perceived their body image. The researcher used participant observation and in-depth interviews techniques with thirty blind Thai adolescents, aged 13-21 years old, who studied in junior high and high school levels in Thai educational institutions in Bangkok. The results revealed three process patterns of internalizing their body image perceptions—through stimulation by listening, touching, and building up imagination from their past experiences. Moreover, this study discovered that there were five main influential factors related to how they perceived their body image: family, friends, teachers, audio/ Braille books, and person/voice in media. Lastly, unlike general adolescent with able-vision, for the blind adolescents these factors had been developed according to the aforementioned sequences.
