บทคัดย่อ

LEADERSHIP, ORGANIZATION CLIMATE AND ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIORS AFFECTING JOB PERFORMANCE OF GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL IN ONE GOVERNMENT AGENCY

The objectives of this research were to study the level of leadership, organizational climate, organizational citizenship behaviors and job performance as well as to determine leadership, organizational climate, and organizational citizenship behaviors that could predict performance of government official in one government agency. Samples used in this research were one hundred and seventy government officials in the Bangkok Metropolis. Data were collected by questionnaires for personal factors, leadership, organizational climate, organizational citizenship behaviors and job performance appraisal. Statistics used in the analysis were the percentages, the mean, the standard deviation, and the stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results of the research had showed the following. Firstly, the level of leadership of government official was high whereas the organizational climate was at the moderate level. Organizational citizenship behaviors was at high level and job performance of government official in one government agency was also at high level. Secondly, the multiple regression analysis indicated that the leadership and organizational citizenship behaviors can predict 41.6% of job performance at the 0.001 level of significance.
