DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING COURSE TO IMPROVE PRODUCTIVITY OF MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY FOR AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENT

Abstract

This research was experiment research. The objectives to develop training course to improve productivity of manufacturing industry for automotive component, and to evaluate the efficiency of the training course to improve productivity of manufacturing industry for automotive component. There were 2 steps in this research by this research was Quasi Experimental Research. The experimental group consisted of 12 production supervisors.  The research design was one–group posttest design. Data were analyzed by using effectiveness score of training course. The research showed that training course consisted of objective, content, methods, training materials, evaluation and training time. The content of training had six topics: 1. Roles and responsibilities of supervisors. 2. Production Operation Analysis & Kaizen. 3. Cost reduction of production with QC techniques and Six Sigma. 4. Total product maintenance. 5. Analysis and improvement of equipment effectiveness. 6. The zero quality system and mistake proofing. The results of the assessment of the consistency of the training course by the experts were consistent with the above criteria. The average index of the consistency indices ranging 0.93. The training course was efficient at 83.80/89.50, which higher than efficiency criterion of 80/80; The trainees were evaluate that opinions at the high level. ( =3.71).
