IMPLEMENTATION OF QUALITY CYCLE TO INNOVATE STUDENT ACTIVITY FOR DRUG PREVENTION IN HIGH SCHOOL

The article presents a case study of implementation of quality cycle for innovation in a high school. The innovation concerns development of student activities for drug prevention. The quality cycle involves teachers’ experiential learning that leads to innovation in a school for drug prevention. The innovation can be divided into two types including process innovation and production innovation. The process innovation in this case refers to student assessment with short time and low cost. The student assessment can categorize students into regular groups and risk groups. The production innovation in this case implies development of a student activity that can meet student satisfaction in their leisure time. The innovation of a student activity is a digital activity that suits for present students as digital natives. A digital activity relates to students’ short film production. This leads to students’ learning development which is consistent with learning areas in a high school.
