MOTIVATION STRATEGIES FOR EACH GENERATION EMPLOYEES IN THE ORGANIZATION

In an organization, a gap of different generations always exists either between Baby Boomers, Generation X, and Generation Y. Each generation has its own uniqueness in different aspects such as attitudes, perceptions, preference, belief, and technology. To create working motivation, characteristics and needs of each generation have to be considered to effectively motivate them. This article gathers important theories about working motivation, generation, and motivation creation in different generations of the organization's staff to determine appropriate strategies to create motivation of staff in different organizations.
