STRATEGIES IN MANAGING SPORTS SCHOOLS FOCUSING ON SPORTS EDUCATION FOR PROMOTING SPORTS EXCELLENCE OF SPORTS SCHOOLS UNDER MINISTRY OF TOURISM AND SPORTS

The research purposes were 1) to investigate the conditions of strategies in managing sports schools focusing on sports education for promoting sports excellence of the sports schools, 2) to study the correlation of strategies in managing sports schools focusing on sports education for promoting sports excellence of the sports schools, and 3) to study the elements for managing sports schools focusing on sports education for promoting sports excellence of the sports schools under Ministry of Tourism and Sports. The sample of 11 respondents schools set into 2 groups: 1) The administration of 43, 2) Teachers of 403 total respondents, 446 people in total. Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient .98. The statistics used in data analysis were namely, Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research findings revealed that overall, the conditions of managing the sports schools focusing on sports education, based on administrators, general education teachers, and sports teachers opinions, were at the highest level. In analyzing the correlation between related variables and managing sports schools focusing on sports education for promoting sports excellence, it showed that all three main variables were related in the same direction at a significance level of .01. The results of the specialist assessments regarding the development guideline was suitable and could used for the promotion sports excellence of sports schools under ministry of tourism and sports.
