THE ADMINISTRATION MODEL OF THE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN SRIRACHA MUNICIPAL, CHONBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study level of Community Participation Administration of Sriracha Municipality, Chonburi Province, 2) to study factors affecting the community Participation,and 3) to study the development guidelines of community  participation Administration. This research used quantitative research method. The populations were people, administrators and members of Sriracha Municipality Council Chonburi Province in 2016 totally 21,848 persons. The samples were 400 persons by simple random sampling method. The instruments were questionnaires. The statistics used data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Pearson Products Moment eonelatim.

The study results found that 1) community participation in administration at Sriracha Municipality, Chonburi province, as overall was at moderate level. When considering each aspect found that political information awareness was the highest. and political participation was the lowest. 2) factors affecting community participation in administration were at moderate level. When considering each aspect found that cooperation of other agencies was the highest. For, leadership character, participation for self-reliance, unity and cooperation in the community, participation in community decisions. opportunities for meeting, exchanging for learning were at low level. 3) All factors were related to community participation in administration statistically significant difference at 001. 4. Development guidelines for community participation in administration were composed of 6 guidelines. They  were 1) collaboration with other agencies 2) participation in self-reliance 3) leadership character 4) unity and cooperation in the community 5) participation in community decisions 6) opportunity for, exchanging mutual learning.
