บทคัดย่อ

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบัน สภาพที่พึงประสงค์ และความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาสมรรถนะผู้นำเชิงนวัตกรรมของผู้บริหารโรงเรียนเอกชนในประเทศไทย ประชากรคือโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาในสังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการส่งเสริมการศึกษาเอกชน จำนวน 525 โรงเรียน กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาที่เปิดสอนทุกระดับในโรงเรียนเดียวกัน จำนวน 250 โรงเรียน ได้จากการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือผู้บริหารโรงเรียนในกรุงเทพฯ 40 คน และภูมิภาค 210 คน รวม 250 คน เครื่องมือคือ การสัมภาษณ์ แบบสอบถาม และสนทนากลุ่ม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติพื้นฐาน ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น (PNI modified) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) สภาพปัจจุบันอยู่ในระดับมาก (x̅  = 3.12) และสภาพที่พึงประสงค์อยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (x̅  = 3.69) 2) ความต้องการจำเป็นสูงสุดคือ การพัฒนาตามแนวราบ (PNI modified = 0.225) รองลงมาคือแนวดิ่ง (PNI modified = 0.222)  สมรรถนะผู้นำเชิงนวัตกรรมที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นสูงสุดคือ การบริหารความเสี่ยงและความกล้าหาญ (PNI modified = 0.266) รองลงมาคือการบริหารจัดการเชิงกลยุทธ์ (0.260) และการคิดสร้างสรรค์และจินตนาการ (0.253)
