VIOLENCES IN JITTIRAIN'S YAOI NOVELS

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze Violences in JittiRain's yaoi novels, 2 stories, namely. Rie Dieng Sa and Akhnay. The research shows four types of violence are 1) physical violence, 2) sexual violence, 3) psychological violence and 4) violence that consists of neglect and detention. The violence within both novels doesn't happen just once, but it repeatedly occurs until it causes subsequent effects on the characters are changing negatively, moody and furious and other abnormal symptoms such as depression and suicide. The writer displays six ways to healing violent wounds are 1) giving them love, 2) showing sympathy, 3) helping from people around them, 4) giving them occasion, 5) accepting the truth and 6) forgiving.
