      การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความเหลื่อมล้ำของรายได้ของครัวเรือนที่มีเพศ
ของหัวหน้าครัวเรือนที่แตกต่างกัน โดยใช้ข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากการสำรวจภาวะเศรษฐกิจและสังคมครัวเรือนของสำนักงานสถิติแห่งชาติ ในปี พ.ศ. 2529, 2539, 2549 และ ปี พ.ศ. 2554 โดยจำแนกครัวเรือนออกตามเพศของหัวหน้าครัวเรือน ชาย-หญิง และวิเคราะห์ความเหลื่อมล้ำของรายได้ของครัวเรือนจากค่าสัมประสิทธิ์จินี่ทางด้านรายได้ ดัชนีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์จินี่ ช่องว่างระหว่างคนรวย-คนจน รายได้ประจำเฉลี่ยผลการศึกษาในภาพรวมครัวเรือนที่มีหัวหน้าครัวเรือนเพศหญิงมีเหลื่อมล้ำของรายได้ที่น้อยกว่าครัวเรือนที่มีหัวหน้าครัวเรือนเพศชาย อีกทั้งความแตกต่างดังกล่าวยังมีขนาดที่เล็กน้อยมากเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับความเหลื่อมล้ำของรายได้ของครัวเรือนที่มีที่ตั้งของครัวเรือนในภูมิภาคที่แตกต่างกัน หรือมีเขตที่อยู่อาศัยและการประกอบอาชีพในสาขาการผลิตที่แตกต่างกัน

 

Abstract

      This study aimed to study the income inequality among Thai households with difference in gender of household head. Secondary data from the Socio-Economic Household Surveys were compiled by the National Statistical Office was employed and analyzed. Gini co-efficient and its trend, rich-poor gap and the average level of current household income were employed to this study.

      The results showed that there was an income inequality among Thai households with different in gender of household head. Household with female head had slightly better in terms of income inequality than household with male head. However, the results also indicated that a gender bias was a minority source of the income inequality among Thai households relatively. Major sources of the income inequality among Thai household were the regional, urban-rural, farm and non-farm differences.
