About the Journal

Journal history     

     Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University is a state-run university, a government  organization that promotes higher education with the vision to be a center for management of quality education based on researches and creation of local wisdom in collaboration with its network partners for sustainable development. Its research mission is to “conduct studies and develop body of knowledge based on both local and global wisdom”. Its strategy is “to do researches and implement the researches for instructional management and locality development”.  The ultimate goal is to develop the university to be the development center well-equipped with the data base and research findings supportive to local development based on the sufficiency economy philosophy. The university, therefore, emphasizes the development and dissemination of body of knowledge on researches from its locality to the global level. Currently, this is possible due to the fact that technological advancement nowadays helps facilitate this mission increasingly and conveniently, thanks to English, an international language which is a wide-spread means of communication.     

      From the role of the university in promoting body of knowledge on researches, it is significant to have an English journal entitled UBRU INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL: Humanities and Social Sciences with the aim at being a means for exchanging knowledge, expertise and experience among students, researchers, professors and the like for the benefit of academic circle, society, and for sustainable locallity development,  nationally and internationally. 

Objective

     As mentioned above the aim of this journal is to provide a platform and a means for disseminating and exchanging of knowledge and experience pertaining to academic advancement and research findings which may be beneficial for academy and society as a whole.

Publication fee   

     The journal will charge a fee of 3,000 baht per 1 article. The author must register and pay fees in the system. The journal will bring this fee to work within and will return only if the editorial rejects the publication. If submitted to experts, evaluate the article Journal will not return fees.

Deadline - period of publication

      The UBRU INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL is a four-month academic journal (4 months per issue or 3 issues per year); the first issue is from January-April; second issue from May-August; and third issue from September-December.
