THE RELIGIOUS BELIEFS OF THE CHINESE THAI A CASE STUDY : OF WAT THAWON WARARAM HATYAI

Abstract

           The aims of this thematic topic are as follows 1. to study about the nature in religious belief and religious style in Thai people of Chinese descent who had been a worshiper in the holy thing at Wat Thaworn Wararam , Hat Yai. 2. to study the objective of a worshiper in the holy thing with faith the religious belief in Thai people of Chinese descent at Wat Thaworn Wararam, Hat Yai. The sample group used texts, documents and relevant research. The thematic topic was the documentary qualitative research work. All the data, collected during May 2021 to April 2022, were then analyzed by content analytic induction.

             The research results found that :

1. The religious belief in Thai people of Chinese descent who had been a worshiper in the holy thing at Wat Thaworn Wararam , Hat Yai.  That was the belief of the Buddhists, which has a religious style of worship in the form  of knowledge, practice, and results.


2. The worshiper in the holy thing with faith the religious belief in Thai people  of Chinese descent at Wat Thaworn Wararam , Hat Yai. The most people were worship for the prosperity of their own lives and family. And the religious belief in Thai people of Chinese descent. They believed that the holy things and deity could give gift and punish. The result of compliance in the religious belief in Thai people of Chinese descent influence to good understanding between different religious belief in the social.
