AN APPLICATION OF IDDHIPĀDA PRINCIPLES IN SUPPORTING DUTY PERFORMANCE OF PERSONNEL IN MUEANG BANG KRUAI MUNICIPALITY, NONTHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This thesis has the following objective: 1. To study the application of ldddhipada in work performance of personnel of Bang Kruai Municipality. 2. To compare the application of ldddhipada in work performance of personnel of Bang Kruai Municipality. 3. To study suggestions and solutions to problems in the application of ldddhipada in work performance of personnel of Bang Kruai Municipality. The data were collected from 112 personnel working in Bang Kruai Municipality by using questionnaires and analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The suggestions were analyzed by content analysis.

          The results showed that: 1. The application of ldddhipada in work performance of personnel of Bang Kruai Municipality of Nonthaburi province in 4 aspects was at a high level overall and in details. In aspects for the highest level was on Vimamsa and the lowest was on Citta.            2. The personnel of Bang Kruai Municipality of Nonthaburi province with different sex, age, working period, level of education, work position, and divisional affiliation have the application level of ldddhipada in work performance indifferently at 0.05 statistical level.                               3. The application of ldddhipada in work performance of personnel of Bang Kruai Municipality is at a high level overall which indicates that the personnel do their duty based on Iddhipada, i.e. they are satisfied in their work, they try to do the work with effort, they pay attention to their work, and they examine the work considerably.
