Way of Life Based on Buddhism of Tai Lue Ethnic Group, Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Sub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were:: 1) study the beliefs, traditions, and Buddhist culture of Tai Lue Ethnic Group, Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Sub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province. 2) study the Buddhist lifestyle of Tai Lue Ethnic Group, Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Sub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan. Thesis is an interview qualitative research. Is a qualitative research Key informants in the 3 groups interviews were obtained with specific qualifications. Data were analyzed by descriptive methods.

The results of the study found that:

 1) Buddhist beliefs of Tai Lue ethnic group at Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Sub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province found that 1) Traditional beliefs of Tai Lue at Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Subdistrict, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province 2) Buddhist beliefs of Tai Lue at Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Sub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province.  Buddhist traditions of Tai Lue ethnic group at Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Sub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province found that 1) Songkran Festival 2) Tan Khuay Salak. Buddhist culture of Tai Lue ethnic group at Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Sub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan Province found that 1) food culture 2) language culture 3) Weaving culture 4) dress culture.

2) Way of life based on Buddhism of Tai Lue ethnic group,  Ban Nong Bua, Pa Kha Ssub-district, Tha Wang Pha District, Nan there are 5 practices as follows: 1) Pāṇ̣ātipātā: to abstain from killing 2) Adinnādānā: to abstain from stealing 3) Kāmesumicchācārā: to abstain from sexual misconduct 4) Musāvādā: to abstain from false speech 5) Surāmerayamajjapamādaṭṭhāna: to abstain from intoxicants causing heedlessness..
