The Effectiveness of Social Development Performances According to Saṅgahavatthu of Nong Chang Khuen Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province

Abstract

This research aimed 1) to examine the level of effectiveness of social development performances of Nong Chang Khuen Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province, 2) to compare the opinions on the effectiveness of social development performances of Nong Chang Khuen Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province classified by personal factors, 3) to find the guidelines for Saṅgahavatthu integration in the social development performances of Nong Chang Khuen Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province. This study was a mixed method with a quantitative research and the data was collected using a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.940. The sample consisted of 361 people who had over aged 18 years old, 6 villages in Nong Chang Khuen Sub-district. Statistics use in the analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, F-test and a qualitative research involved in-depth with 10 key informants and descriptive data analysis.

The results indicated that

          1) The effectiveness of social development performances of Nong Chang Kuen Sub-district Municipality was overall at a high level.

2)The comparison results of effectiveness of social development performances of Nong Chang Kuen Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province was found that people with different occupations, the opinion towards the social development performances of Nong Chang Kuen Sub-district Municipality, Mueang District, Lamphun Province was different and the research hypothesis was accepted.  As for genders, ages, educational qualification, statuses were not different. Therefore, the research hypothesis was rejected.

3)Guidelines for social development performances according to Saṅgahavatthu was found that 1) the people in the organization should help and support each other within the organization and other departments. 2) Everyone should be aware of their rights and duties. 3) Service should be provided with heart. 4) Performing work for which one was responsible with consistency.
