The Development of a Workload Reporting System for Instructors of Graduate School. Chiang Mai University

Abstract
This research aimed to develop a workload reporting system for instructors in the Graduate School at Chiang Mai University and to evaluate the efficiency of the developed system. The examination employed a methodology for research and development. following the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process. The research sample comprised 27 staff members involved in graduate education services across various departments. schools. colleges. and the Graduate School of Chiang Mai University. who were selected using purposive sampling. The technologies utilized to develop the system encompassed MySQL. PHP. Joomla. the web server of the Graduate School. and a questionnaire to gauge user satisfaction. Data analysis involved the use of mean and standard deviation.
The outcomes of the research indicated that:
1) the systems development consists of seven stages—1.1) identification of issues and evaluation of requirements. 1.2) feasibility assessment. 1.3) analysis of the system. 1.4) design of the system. 1.5) development and testing of the system. 1.6) installation and training for users. and 1.7) maintenance and enhancement of the system. After that. the system could effectively supervise the workload of instructors in the Graduate School as required. 2) The developed system demonstrated an overall efficiency at a efficiency at a good level (mean 3.84) and showed strong efficiency in all aspects. The most highly rated aspect was the clarity of text displayed on the screen and language usage. followed by the ease of access to data or applications.
