A STUDY ON THE EDUCATIONAL OF STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP FOR TEMPLE MERIT SCHOOL IN BUDDHISM NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The study entitled "A Study on the Administrators of Educational Institutions’ Leadership of Charity School of Buddhist Temples Nakhon Si Thammarat Province” aimed (1) to study the school administrators’ leadership of charity school of Buddhist temples in Nakhon Si Thammarat province (2) to compare the educational administrators’ leadership of charity school of Buddhist temples based on teachers’ perceptions with different gender, education and experience. and 3) the leadership system with board of Buddhist temples in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. This is a quantitative and survey research employing questionnaire to collect data from key informants consisting of 152 teachers in charity school of Buddhist temples. The study was a qualitative research, in-dept interview and got information from purposive selection with board assistant in charity school of Buddhist temples Nakhon Si Thmmarat Province with 9 persons.

          The results of the study:

          1) leadership of the school administrators of the charity schools of the Buddhist temples in Nakhon Si Thammarat province were found high in the overall view ( ¯x = 3.63, S.D. = 0.642). Summarized findings according to separate aspect were as follows: 1) Leadership inchange in the overall and separate item was moderate in executives’ significant role in setting roles and responsibilities of co-workers, at a high level in executives’ power to command their colleagues. 2) For leadership in a democratic way, it was, in overall and each aspect, at a high level. In this regard, school administrators paid attention to their colleagues and treat each other individually, and were aware of co-workers’ needs and could respond to their needs, encouraging them how to systematically plan. 3) For flexible leadership, school administrators’ leadership of charity school of Buddhist temples in Nakhon Si Thammarat province include human relationship, open-mind, honor, motivate by promote and support team to potential development, follow discipline and be good example for henchman.
