Abstract

The research aims to study 1). the level of factors that create the positive image to the urban society, 2) the roles of the beauty contest to the urban society, and 3) the relationship
between the factors and the roles of the beauty contest to the urban society. The results showed that: 1) there is need to keep the image, contest purpose, apparel and
minimum qualification of the pageant on society at a moderate level, 2). the role of the pageant for the society should be moderate. When an item is found, the side with the most is the role
model for youths and society on a moderate level. The Eye base and the devil is also selected on the moderate level, 3) Having a positive relationship with the role of a pageant and the city is
a creative factor for the pageant’s wholesome image. These however increases the pageant role. A declined pageant image will result to an increased city. If the pageant role increases, the city
declines, 4) There are factors that shapes the image of the pageant and the social isolation of the eight pageant aspect features. This includes the activities that promotes the organization positive images, fair judgement of the contest, the purpose of the contest and the media design and management. These are factors to bear in creating the image of the pageant. The society can
explain the variations.
