การประยุกต์การนำเสนอข้อมูลเชิงภาพเพื่อวิเคราะห์การเลือกใช้นโยบายการบัญชี เรื่อง อสังหาริมทรัพย์เพื่อการลงทุน: กรณีศึกษาบริษัทจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการริเริ่มการประยุกต์เทคโนโลยีการนำเสนอข้อมูลเชิงภาพด้วยโปรแกรม Microsoft Power BI เพื่อวิเคราะห์พฤติกรรมของผู้บริหารในการเลือกวิธีวัดมูลค่าอสังหาริมทรัพย์เพื่อการลงทุนตามมาตรฐานการบัญชีฉบับที่ 40 เรื่อง อสังหาริมทรัพย์เพื่อการลงทุน โดยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลจากบริษัทจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2555–2564 ที่มีรายการอสังหาริมทรัพย์เพื่อการลงทุน ภายใต้กรอบแนวคิด Positive Accounting Theory (PAT)
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า วิธีราคาทุนเป็นแนวทางหลักที่บริษัทส่วนใหญ่เลือกใช้ตลอดทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา อย่างไรก็ตามมีแนวโน้มการใช้วิธีมูลค่ายุติธรรมเพิ่มขึ้น โดยเฉพาะหลังปี พ.ศ. 2563 (ภายหลังวิกฤตโควิด‑19) และในบริษัทที่พึ่งพาอสังหาริมทรัพย์เพื่อการลงทุนเป็นหลักในการดำเนินงาน รวมทั้งยังพบด้วยว่า ประเภทอุตสาหกรรมมีผลต่อการเลือกวิธีวัดมูลค่าอสังหาริมทรัพย์เพื่อการลงทุน ในส่วนของสมมติฐานข้อตกลงในสัญญากู้ยืมและเรื่องต้นทุนทางการเมืองการศึกษาครั้งนี้พบว่า มีผลสอดคล้องกับการเลือกวิธีบัญชีตามแนวคิด Positive Accounting Theory แต่ไม่พบว่า บริษัทที่มีผลกำไรสูงจะเลือกวิธีมูลค่ายุติธรรมเพื่อเพิ่มกำไรให้กับบริษัทตามสมมติฐานการให้ผลตอบแทน จากผลการศึกษาแสดงให้เห็นว่าการนำเสนอข้อมูลเชิงภาพไม่ได้เป็นเพียงเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการสื่อสารผลลัพธ์ แต่ยังทำหน้าที่เป็นเครื่องมือที่ช่วยเติมเต็มการวิเคราะห์และค้นพบข้อสังเกต แนวโน้ม และพฤติกรรมที่ฝังลึกในข้อมูลจริง ผลการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็นว่าการนำเสนอด้วยภาพยังช่วยเพิ่มความเข้าใจมากขึ้นถึงพฤติกรรมของผู้บริหารในการเลือกใช้นโยบายการบัญชีของบริษัทจดทะเบียนไทยในสภาพแวดล้อมยุคดิจิทัล
