A STUDY OF 21ST CENTURY LEARNING SKILLS OF NAKHON RATCHASIMA RAJABHAT’S UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS USING INQUIRY METHOD MANAGEMENT (7E) WITH CONCEPT MAP

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) compare the 21st century learning skills of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University (NRRU)’s undergraduate students before and after using inquiry method management (7E) with concept map, 2) compare learning achievement of NRRU undergraduate students after using inquiry method management (7E) with concept map against the 70% criterion, and 3) study satisfaction of NRRU undergraduate students after using inquiry method management (7E) with concept map. The 27 junior students majoring in Physics Program, Faculty of Education, NRRU, who registered this course in the first semester of 2018 academic year, were selected to be sample. The research tools were 8 lesson plans, questionnaire, achievement test and satisfaction evaluation form. Data were analyzed by using mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent.


            The finding revealed that 1) the 21st century learning skills of NRRU undergraduate students after using inquiry method management (7E) with concept map was higher than before with statistical significance at the .05 level, overall was at high level ( gif.latex?\bar{X}=4.49, S.D.=0.09); the highest average was the Learning and Innovation Skills ( gif.latex?\bar{X}=4.55, S.D.=0.07), 2) learning achievement of NRRU undergraduate students after using inquiry method management (7E) with concept map was higher than the 70 % with statistical significance at the 0.05 level, and 3) students’ satisfaction towards learning activity after using inquiry method management (7E) with concept map was at highest level.
