Abstract

   

The purposes of this research were: 1) To study the organization’s status and the contributing health factors of the educational institutes according to the Office of Primary Education Area in Tak; 2) To improve the developmental strategy of the organizational health of the educational institutes; and 3) To assess the strategy for the development of the organizational health of the educational institutes. The target group of the research was a total of 506 people. The sample size was determined by the Krejcic and Morgan formula and was selected using stratified random sampling. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using the descriptive statistics of mean and standard deviation. This research was divided into the steps of administering a questionnaire, conducting workshops, feasibility studies and estimates using the collective data from 17 knowledgeable experts about the organization’s health and development strategy.

            The four major research findings were: 1) The most important component of the organizational health of educational institutes was resources encouragement; 2) The factors related to the development of the organization health of educational institutes were the operational system and technology; 3) The results of developing the strategy consisted of a vision, 4 missions, 4 goals, 4 strategic issues, 9 strategies; and 4) The result of assessing the strategy for the development of the organizational health of educational institutes under the Office of Primary Education Area in Tak found that suitability, feasibility and usefulness were the most important factors.
