A MODEL FOR LIFE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT OF SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN A HIGH AREA SCHOOL OF TAK PROVINCE

The purposes of this research 1) to study secondary school students life skills in high areas school, 2) to study the states and problems of life skills development of secondary school students in high areas school, 3) to develop the model of life skills development of secondary school students in high areas school, and 4) to evaluate the developed model of life skills development of secondary school students in high areas school. The studying of states and problems, collected from 229 samples. The instrument used a questionnaire with IOC=0.97 analyzed by using frequency and percentage. The data collected by workshops and expert-based seminars, analyzed by content analysis and evaluated model by 17 experts, selected by purposive sampling. The instrument used questionnaire, analyzed by the means and standard deviation.
The results of this research indicated as follows : 1) The students had life skill in critical thinking, decision making, and creative problem solving were less than other. 2) State of developing life skills in direct instruction and Integrating teaching in the curriculum were higher than other and The problems of life skills development in Special project was higher than other. 3) The model for life skills development consisted of (1) the principles of model (2) the purpose of model (3) the factors affecting of life skills development (4) Life skills development process (5) Product (6) Outcome (7) The Guidelines of implementation model. The evaluative results of a model was, suitable, feasible, and useful at a high and highest level.
