The study presented its result by the descriptive analysis.
The study found that Roi Sai Canal community, called Nai Bang community is in Mueang Surat Thani district. Formerly, the area had plentiful plants, poultries, aquatic animals and amphibians. Later, due to convenient transportations and land utilizations other than agriculture, the natural habitats have been destroyed and material progress gradually, the community found problems of living. Regarding the social capital, the community’s living gave precedence to production and consumption for subsistence, living intellect, healthcare, etc. Also, Nai Bang kept alive well-established tradition continually, had social networks and provided substantial assistance to each other. When the commune had problems of living due to the area development, the problem was figured out by applying natural resources and social capital in cultural, agricultural and sustainable tourism in the manner of homestay ecotourism. It ensured that tourists had community-based experience and received generous hospitality, which both villagers and visitors were satisfied with the adapted tourism.
