Reducing the risk of death of the elderly is achieved by providing practical advice to prevent and reduce the spread of coronavirus. This research aimed to: 1) study media exposure, attitudes and risk prevention behaviors; 2) compare demographic characteristics towards media exposure; and 3) study the relationship between media exposure, attitudes, and risk prevention behaviors of elderly people in the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic. A sample size of 420 people was chosen without knowing the population and using the Purposive sampling method. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a very high reliability. Data collection was carried out by administering the questionnaire and analyzing the data by using a combination of the descriptive statistics of percentage, means and standard deviations, and inferential statistics to test hypotheses with t-tests, one-way ANOVA analysis, and Pearson product moment correlation statistics. The results showed that the sample was moderately open to media, had a high level of attitude and behavior towards risk prevention in the situation of the coronavirus pandemic, with different levels of education and income resulting in different exposure to media, and the relationship between exposure to media, attitudes and risk prevention behaviors was positively related. So, media and communication methods should be planned and implemented to suit demographic characteristics, including the use of media to provide a wide range of information, interest, and continuously spread to target audiences.
