THE EFFECT OF GAMES AND THE LEAD-UP GAMES FOR PHYSICAL FITNESS’S IMPROVMENT AT THE PRIVATE ISLAM RELIGIOUS SCHOOL IN THREE SOUTHERN BORDER PROVINCE

The objective of this research was to study of body mass index (BMI), physical fitness level and compare the physical fitness before and after playing games with lead-up games and the moderate level. The sample selected from high school students at the private Islam schools in southern border province in year 2019 totally 357 students. It was conducted by multiple random sampling. The experiment’s tool were games and leading games for improvement of physical fitness. The experiment by using the moderate level criteria at the age of 16 years based on the International Committee Standardization of Physical Fitness Test (ICSPFT). The analyzation based on means, average standard deviation and testing T-test dependent which were as follow; 1) The BMI score of male students before playing games were, 29.78% and 36.52%, and female students were 24.02% and 35.20%. The result was more and less than after playing game 26.97% and 28.65% respectively for male and 22.91% and 26.26% respectively for female, and 2) The comparison of physical performance totally 8 items of male and female students between before and after playing games were significance difference at the statistic level of .05. The comparison of physical performance with moderate criteria, the score was better than expected criteria, except for male students on the long jump program, running 50 meters fast and under running distance and for female students for running fast at 50 meters and running at a distance that was lower than expected criteria.
