The objective of this qualitative research was to find ways to create works of art on the district to promote creative tourism. This research used a case study of the Talad Noi community, Samphanthawong District, Bangkok. The data were collected by interviewing 3 groups of key informants:1) the experts and designers with experience in art creation who participated in the study; 2) the residents whose art has been created in the district for a period of at least 10 years; and 3) the tourists who have viewed the art. Semi-structured interviews were conducted using the conceptual framework of the study. The data were verified by data triangulation techniques, analyzed and presented descriptively. The results demonstrated that the issue of creating art that engages with the community to promote creative tourism is a concept of creating a feeling of experience with a new space by using art to connect cultures of each area in 6 components: concept, creator, artwork, creative area, audiences and community culture. Community involvement with the engagement of art and community may turn a place into tourist attraction by using the arts and culture of the community to create new perspectives for audiences. The change from private spaces to public spaces should not present any conflicting issues for every process. The information must be studied carefully by listening to people in the community and studying the problems that may arise in the creation of art works.
