Abstract

This article presents a conceptual framework for integrating science teaching models with the development of students as creative innovators by analyzing the connections between four effective science teaching approaches: inquiry-based learning, problem-based learning, science project-based learning, and STEM education, with processes for developing creativity and innovation. The article synthesizes a framework consisting of three main components: characteristics of creative innovators, innovation development processes, and contexts that foster innovator development. It also presents integration approaches and examples of learning activity designs that can be applied to science instruction at various educational levels, with a particular focus on elementary education. This framework will help teachers and educational stakeholders design and develop science learning experiences that effectively promote both scientific knowledge and concrete innovation capabilities among students.
