A Study Of The Operation Of The School Student Support System Under The Office Of Special Education Administration, Lopburi Province.

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) study the operational level of the student support system in schools under the Office of Special Education Administration in Lopburi Province; 2) compare the operations of the student support system classified by gender, work experience, and grade levels of homeroom teachers; and 3) study development guidelines for the student support system. The sample consisted of 191 homeroom teachers, selected via stratified random sampling. Research instruments included a 5-point rating scale questionnaire with a reliability of 0.97 and a structured interview form. Data were analyzed using mean (), standard deviation (S.D.), t-test, and one-way analysis of variance (F-test). The research results indicated that: 1) The overall operation of the student support system was at a high level ( = 4.16, S.D. = 0.53). 2) Comparisons of the operations based on gender, work experience, and grade levels revealed no statistically significant differences in either the overall or individual dimensions at the 0.05 level. 3) Key development guidelines suggested integrating information technology through online database systems for rapid access to student insights, combined with standardized screening tools (SDQ and Snap4) to ensure accurate student classification and efficient referrals.
