EXECUTIVE’S ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP EFFECTS TO THE EFFECTIVENESS OF QUALITY INSURANCE IN SCHOOL UNDER SURAT THANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 3

Abstract

under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, 2) to observe the effectiveness of quality insurance in school under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, 3) to investigate the relation between executive’s academic leadership and the effectiveness of quality insurance in school under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3, and 4) to find the forecasting model used to predict executive’s Academic leadership effects to the effectiveness of quality insurance in school under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The population is consisted of 1,971 of teachers and academic staffs in schools under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. Krejcie and Morgan’s measurement table is used to design the quantity of sampling groups, which resulted in 320 participants. Instrument used is a questionnaire. Statistics applied are frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, and Peason’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient.

The results showed that

1. the executive’s academic leadership under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 has the overall average and mean aspect in high level. When analyze in each aspect found that the aspect with the highest average is the design of school missions, followed by the measurement and evaluation, the development of quality insurance within schools, the studying management, the organization of school curriculums, the development learning sites, and the lowest average aspect is the educational supervision.
2. the effectiveness level of insurance in school under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 has the overall average and mean aspect in high level. When analyze in each aspect found that the aspect with the highest average is the 2^nd standard: administration and management process, followed by the 3^rd standard: the studying management, and the lowest average aspect is the 1^st standard: students’ quality.

3.the correlation coefficient between executive’s academic leadership effects and the effectiveness of quality insurance in school under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 found that overall has high relation level (R_XY).862 and has a positive relation with the statistical important insight at the level of .01. When analyze in each aspect found that all aspects have a positive relation with the statistical important insight at the level of .01.

4.the analysis results of multiple linear regression to predict the effectiveness of quality insurance in school and executive’s academic leadership under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 found that executive’s academic leadership under Surat Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3 in all aspects together can predict the effectiveness of quality insurance in school to be 77.40 %. The study results showed that the best forecasting variation is the development of learning sites (β=.192, t=4.16, p-value =.00), the measurement and evaluation (β=.298, t=4.63, p-value =.00), the development of the quality of insurance within schools (β=.281, t=4.73, p-value =.00), and the organization of school curriculums (β=.119, t=2.40, p-value =.01). All aspects affect the effectiveness of quality insurance in school with the significant statistical insights at the level of .01, which can be written in multiple linear regression equation as the following:
