The Development of Part of Speech Skill Exercises for Grade 4 Students at Chumchonbanbungchlawittaya School

Abstract

The purposes of this study were 1) to develop of part of speech skill exercises for grade 4 students at Chumchonbanbungchlawittaya school to be effective in accordance with the criteria of 80/80 2) to compare scores between pre-test and post-test with part of speech skill exercises for grade 4 students at Chumchonbanbungchlawittaya school. The target group for this research was 10 students of grade 4 of Chumchonbanbungchlawittaya school, 1 classroom, academic year 2021. The research instruments used for the study were pre-test, post-test and skill exercises. The statistics used in analyzing the data were percentage (%), mean (), standard deviation (S.D.) and efficiency E₁/E₂. The result of the research indicated that 1) The efficiency of part of speech skill exercises for grade 4 students at Chumchonbanbungchlawittaya school is equal to 80.75/89 which is effective according to meet the specified criteria is 80/80. 2) The achievement score after studying with part of speech skill exercises for grade 4 students at Chumchonbanbungchlawittaya school, the pre-test achievement scores of mean
() is equal to 5.70, standard deviation (S.D.) is equal to 1.49 and the post-test achievement scores of mean () is equal to 8.90, standard deviation (S.D.) is equal to 0.88 showing that it  was  found  that  the  post-test scores were significantly higher than pre-test at the had statistically significant at .05 level.
