Development of Creative Thinking in Visual Arts by Adopting Design Thinking Process For Matthayomsuksa 1 Students

Abstract

This research aims to 1) compare creative thinking in Visual arts by Design Thinking Process of Mattayomsuksa 1 students with a criterion of 70 percent 2) study students’ learning behavior of Mattayomsuksa 1 students toward the instruction of Visual arts by Design Thinking process and 3) study the relationship of creative thinking in Visual arts by Design Thinking Process and students’ learning behavior. The sample in the study are 45 students of Mattayomsuksa 1/13 at Suankularb Wittayalai Nonthaburi School in semester 2, academic year of 2021. The sample were chosen by Cluster random sampling. The research instruments included in this study are 1) Lesson Plan for Creative Development in Visual Arts by Design Thinking Process 2) Assessment test of Creative Development in Visual Arts by Design Thinking Process 3) Assessment test of students’ learning behavior. The results of the study are as following. 1) The results of creative thinking in Visual arts by Design Thinking Process of Mattayomsuksa 1 students with a criterion of 70 percent were not significantly different. 2) The results of students’ learning behavior of Mattayomsuksa 1 students toward the instruction of Visual arts by Design Thinking process was at a good level. 3) The relationship of creative thinking in Visual arts by Design Thinking Process and students’ learning behavior was in a very good level.
