Development of Online Lessons with Blended Learning Activity on the Using Information Technology Safety Affecting Learning Achievement of Grade 4-6 Students

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to develop online lessons with blended learning activity on the using information technology safely of Grade 4-6 students having the quality and criterion of media efficiency at 80/80, (2) to compare the pretest and posttest scores of students’ learning achievement after studying online lessons with blended learning activity, (3) to study Effectiveness Index (E.I.) of and online lessons with blended learning activity, and (4) to study students’ satisfaction towards online lessons with blended learning activity.

          The research participants were 35 students in primary Grade 4 to 6 from Ban Klong Yong school in second semester of the academic year 2022. The research instruments were : (1) lesson plan on the using information technology safely unit, (2) media of online lessons with blended learning activity on the using information technology safely, (3) the expert’s lesson plan evaluation form, (4) the expert’s media evaluation form, (5) pretest and posttest, and (6) satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation.

          The study’s findings showed that : (1) the online lessons with blended learning activity on the using information technology safely of Grade 4-6 students showed quality at the highest level (Mean=4.81) and efficiency at 96.23/85.56, (2) the students’ learning achievement scores significantly higher than the pretest score at .01 level, (3) the Effectiveness Index (E.I.) of and online lessons with blended learning activity was 0.70, and (4) the students’ satisfaction towards online lessons with blended learning activity showed at the highest level (Mean=4.37, SD= 0.61).
