Creative Leadership of Child Development Center Administrators Under the Local Administrative Organization

This study aimed to study the current status, desired status, and necessary status of creative leadership and the development guidelines for creative leadership of administrators of child development centers under local administrative organizations in Phatthalung Province.
The study methods were quantitative research and qualitative research. The sample group used in this research was 123 administrators of child development centers under local administrative organizations in Phatthalung Province in the academic year 2024 and 15 interviewees. The selection method was purposive. The tools used for data collection were questionnaires and interview forms. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, mean, standard deviation, standard deviation, necessary needs (PNImodified), and content analysis.
The research results found that 1) The current status of creative leadership of child development center administrators was at a moderate level overall. The desired status of creative leadership of child development center administrators was at a high level overall. The overall necessary needs had an index value (PNImodified) of 0.42. 2) The development guidelines for creative leadership of child development center administrators were as follows: (1) In terms of vision, it was found that leaders had a foresight in their thinking process towards the future. Leading to the change of the excellence of the child development center and planning to set future goals (2) in terms of flexibility, it was found that it allowed the operators to have freedom of thought and to give advice to the teachers in the child development center. (3) in terms of imagination, it was found that there was the creation of activities to build relationships within the center and being a creative leader in creating positive motivation for teachers in the child development center. (4) in terms of problem solving ability, it was found that the participatory management in developing the center to be efficient by adhering to the rules and regulations related to the reasons of the problems. And (5) in terms of challenge, it was found that it promoted teachers to work together, be loyal to the organization, and live together peacefully.
