The Thai Dwarf and Japanese Bonsai

Abstract

Thai dwarf is created by bringing trees together to bend the shape. Arrange the branches and decorate them to look like a bush. Popularly grown in porcelain pots to decorate homes. Thai dwarf is based on the Japanese tradition of potted plants known as bonsai. It is the practice of reproducing natural plants in pots. It is not only beautiful, but it is also a relaxing hobby. According to research, the two cultures are related. Long-term relationship meanwhile there are also similarities and differences in many concrete and abstract aspects. As a result, it began as a concept for a comparative study of Thai dwarf and Japanese bonsai. The comparison revealed similarities and differences in terms of form, method of construction, size determination, placement, philosophy, way of life, belief and culture, and so on. This fosters an understanding of cultural differences that reflect on Thai and Japanese lifestyles. They can also use the comparison results to create a pattern for Thai dwarf in order for the Thai dwarf to last forever.
