รายงานการประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติญี่ปุ่นศึกษา ครั้งที่ 8 ประจำปี 2557

Abstract

บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) รายงาน การจัดประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติญี่ปุ่นศึกษาใน ประเทศไทยครั้งที่ 8 และ (2) วิเคราะห์และ ประเมินผลการจัดงาน เพื่อทำความเข้าใจแวดวง วิชาการญี่ปุ่นศึกษาของประเทศไทยผ่านงานประชุม วิชาการ และใช้เป็นข้อมูลในการปรับปรุงการจัดงาน ต่อไป

สำหรับการจัดประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติ ญี่ปุ่นศึกษาในประเทศไทยครั้งที่ 8 นี้ กำหนด หัวข้อเรื่องว่า “คลายปม: บทเรียนจากญี่ปุ่น” เพื่อ ทำความเข้าใจความขัดแย้ง และการคลี่คลาย ปมขัดแย้ง ผ่านกรณีศึกษาของญี่ปุ่น โดยมีคณะ ศิลปศาสตร์เป็นเจ้าภาพดำเนินการจัดประชุม วิชาการ การประชุมนี้จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 18-19 ธันวาคม 2557 ณ คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัย ธรรมศาสตร์ ท่าพระจันทร์

องค์ปาฐกรับเชิญมี 2 ท่าน คือ Prof. Dr. Keiichi TSUNEKAWA รองอธิการบดีของ National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) ปาฐกถาในหัวข้อ “Conflict and Democracy in Modern Japan” และ Prof. Dr. Takashi MIYAKITA จาก Kumamoto Gakuen University ปาฐกถาในหัวข้อ “Japan’s Decades of Social Conflict and Community Governance”

สรุปผลการจัดประชุมวิชาการระดับชาติ ญี่ปุ่นศึกษาในประเทศไทยครั้งที่ 8 ได้ดังนี้ (1) มี บทคัดย่อทั้งสิ้น 45 เรื่องที่ส่งเข้ามาเพื่อขอนำเสนอ ผลงาน ในจำนวนนี้มี 35 บทความที่ผ่านการคัด เลือกและมานำเสนอในการประชุมฯ (2) มีผู้เข้าร่วม งานประชุมวิชาการในครั้งนี้รวม 179 คน มีผู้ตอบ แบบสำรวจจำนวน 63 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 35.2 ของ ผู้เข้าร่วม (3) ข้อมูลจากแบบสำรวจจำนวน 63 ชุด พบว่า ผู้ตอบแบบสำรวจส่วนใหญ่เป็นอาจารย์รุ่น ใหม่ อายุระหว่าง 21-40 ปี สังกัดสถาบันอุดมศึกษา และมีความพึงพอใจระดับมากในการเข้าร่วมการ ประชุมวิชาการฯ ในครั้งนี้

Report on the 8^th National Conference of Japanese Studies 2014

This article aims to: (1) portray the overall picture of the 8th Annual Conference of Japanese Studies; and (2) analyze the conference-related data in order to understand recent developments of Japanese studies in Thailand that could have managerial implications for the next conference.

Entitled “Conflict Resolution: Lesson Learned from Japan,” the 8th National Conference of Japanese Studies in Thailand was organized by the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University, and held during December 18 - 19, 2014 at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat University, Tha Prachan Campus, Bangkok.

Two keynote speakers were invited: Prof. Dr. Keiichi TSUNEKAWA of the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) giving the speech on “Conflict and Democracy in Modern Japan,” and Prof. Dr. Takashi MIYAKITA of Kumamoto Gakuen University on “Japan’s Decades of Social Conflict and Community Governance.”

According to the data collected, 45 articles were submitted for preliminary examination, of which 35 were selected for conference presentation. The total number of participants was 179. Analysis results revealed that the majority of the 63 respondents (35.2% of total participants) was the rising generation of university lecturers aged between 21-40; they were satisfied with the outcome of this conference.
